Lagarith and UT Video Codec has Bad Performance

Describe the issue you're having:

Both these Codecs has pretty severe reduced performance compared to the 
original.
I thought it was the other way around before, might have change or perhaps it's 
always been like this?

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File?

Any file will do, preferable something with much stuff going on so the CPU 
usage gets high.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player?
 0.61.2

I can't change the performance of those codecs.
If you want them faster, I suggest you checkout the code of ffmpeg, improve 
their performance, and then submit the improvements back!

Sadly i can't code at all with this stuff. 
Is there a way to submit this to ffmpeg, or something?

As the performance difference isn't small, not sure how this can be though, 
usually they handle things well, especially for older formats.
