This is an old bug that was fixed about a year ago and now it's back. On my
nVidia 880 HDMI -> Yamaha AV receiver, it plays sped up. On my Intel 4600 HDMI
-> Onkyo Receiver it doesn't play 44.1 DTS at all - total silence.

I assume you're both talking about bitstreaming over SPDIF or HDMI, correct?

I am using SPDIF from my onboard ALC898 audio.

Yes, bitstreamed.

This works just perfectly on my receiver over HDMI, ever since it was fixed
quite some time ago.

My guess is that your receiver is not capable of playing 44.1 DTS.

This seems to be an Intel HDMI issue. FFDShow has the same problem with Intel
audio. I have reported the problem to Intel.
