Two Videos at 2x speed #520

Describe the issue you're having:
Run a video twice or two different videos simutaneously - run both in
fast-forward mode and dual processor system hangs during silence.

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File?

Download one of these videos from youtube using youtube-dl
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6Xc9RlL2g0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcqjuwJILJA
What is important about these videos is the silences in them.

I use a batch file user interface to handle the commandline program youtube-dl,
the automatically generated options used to download these is:
-i --write-sub -f 18/5 --embed-subs

to cause problem: Run one twice (cue so they run at offset times) or both
simutaneously. tell programs to play the videos fast.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player?
initially used 0.58, now 0.61.2 and still does it.

Players: first found issue with Media Player Classic - Home Cinema v1.7 this
has the button to play at 2x. both processes stalled until one of the videos
started talking again, then videos ran fast to catch up. CPU usage during stall
was 50/50

Thinking it was the player, i switched to MCI-based program "player-24" and
pressed "F" to make it play faster (set both to 2.00x). same issue happened,
however during silence videos moved slowly instead. again 50/50, but seems a
little resiliant to triggering.

Please provide any additional information below.
this may fix the pausing of the image seen in "player-24" when videos are not
played at 1x speed. Issue was not important to bother reporting it.

playing a 1x and a 2x: does not happen. playing two at 2x and a third at 1x
does not cure. Happens with both players each playing together. Happens with
mis-matched faster speeds in P24 (ie, 1.35 & 2x). Cursor also glitches too due
to CPU loading.

I should have said "the screen hangs", it still is working in the background.
