Look into using a CMS #12

Using a CMS might make it easier to generate Front Matter for example, by having an easy to use form you fill out (i.e. a front matter template). You could have .md previews, backups etc.

This siteleaf almost looks perfect ^ it automatically works with github repos.

I went with Foresty.io it turned out to be nice in it's ability to do frontmatter templates. Additionally it connects well to git.
