Dialog box requiring click appears on every reload #18

Some sites, such as my HSBC banking website displays the following dialog box upon each reload:

"To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier."

This used to happen when I used the ReloadEvery add-on, but it would only appear on the first reload. Tab-Reloader displays the dialog every single time, requiring a click.

Any way to make it behave as ReloadEvery did?

Do you have an example page without the need to be logged-in?

Hello James

At the moment I have not, it does seem to be pages where I have had to login and select accounts etc. such as the bank sites.

If I come across a site without login, I will post here.

I have the same issue when refreshing a page that contains form data. Basically I want the form I have loaded on the page (which is just a filtered view of some data) to still be there after the refresh (unlike the result I get with this add-on, which removes all form data - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-auto-refresh/) but for the warning message not to pop up before succesfully refreshing the page as I want, which is what happens with yours.

I've tried this with both "use cache" on and off - no difference. I know it's possible - or at least it was possible - because the previous add-on I before Quantum did it OK. Unfortunately I can't recall the name of that add-on though. I also can't give you the example as it's an intranet page. I think you'll find the issue on any page with form data though.

Could it be the following issue, with suggested solution underneath?
