Set Refresh All Templates to Yes to update templates even if they are
up-to-date.
The second sync ignores a template only if it's not public or if it wasn't
changed since previous sync (date field)

Yep but the customer had "Delete products" set for deleted templates when I ran
the sync profile after deleting all the products.
Now there's no way to get them back.
I did try all combos of "Refresh all", "Ignore deleted templates"... to get
them back.
Tell you what, I'll mark this "To test" so that I can try to replicate the
situation from scratch on /mageimage/ and then explain step by step what the
problem was. It is not a common situation but I think we should offer a way for
admins to reset imported data without digging into databases or whatever.

Not sure what the problem was on uprint but I tried lots of combinations on
mageimage and could not replicate.
No problem getting products back after deleting them. Actually, I was able to
do it regardless of "Refresh all" setting.

Ok here we go, the issue came up again, this time in our demo store.
There are 198 templates in the portal account connected to /magento/. Same
number of templates in M.
Only ~120 of them have corresponding products created. I want to create
products for the remaining ones now.
Settings are set to "refresh all templates".. re-sync, tried to create products
for them but M ignores it.
This is one example situation I was talking about int this issues description.
How do I get those products created now? They were probably deleted at one
point and now the system remembers this and refuses to create products for
those templates.

I restored all hidden products.

Wasn't this suppose to be part of the extension? Like some setting that will
force all templates to be refreshed regardless if they were deleted manually in
the past or whatever.
Anatoly, did you fix our demo store only or did you modify the extension?

Looks like the products got broken during some bulk edit operation.
A similar situation on a customer site (RT ticket 1928) may be because of the
same.
We need to find a way of identifying these products since they are no showing
in the admin.
Do they show in data export?

Anatoly, explain in sufficient detail what you did to restore them.
We'll write a help post about it and close the issue for now.
