There's a bug in Fit-in-field image editing on a simple image placeholder.
The second page on this template:
https://d1.zetaprints.com/magedev/index.php/magentot-03/image-editing-test.html
on portal:
http://cname.zetaprints.com/?page=template;TemplateID=378B6EC4-0C14-4E5B-98ED-3F
3D5865B62F
has a simple image placeholder, unlike the identical size PowerClip'd image
placeholder that's on the first page.
Replication instructions:
- Navigate to the second page
- Select a uploaded image and hit edit to open ImageEdit
- Use "fit height" to fit the crop tool, Save and Update preview
- Click Edit on the same image again and manually change the selected area to
something smaller.
- Update preview
- A gap appears at the bottom. Attached screenshot displays the gap.
This is not the case when used on a PowerClip'd image. I added a frame on top
of the placeholder for reference. It tells us how big the original placeholder
image is. Since this is "Fit in field" and the crop area is proportional to the
placeholder size, there shouldn't be any empty space.
It might be caused by the resized image displayed in the ImageEdit fancy-box on
the second open. After a maximum height/weight is selected (fit height /
width), Saved, Closed and the ImageEdit fancy-box is opened again... the image
is misaligned and not selected properly.
