Mainly getting the viewfinder doing more or less the right thing.

White-light imaging update - do we want to see the coarse listener cells or the underlying structure at best resolution possible? can adjust 'alpha' function arg to fade one on top of the other , which could work if not too visually complicated.

I think the underlying structure at best resolution would be preferable. Something we could get user feedback on, perhaps?

Yeah, tend to agree - In which case the code can stay as is with an alpha = 1
