I have this same issue on my Nexus S. When I connect it connects to me
secondary monitor (my 1080p Television) instead of my primary computer monitor.
All I get on the phone is a black screen, and it also changes my Television
display to a black screen rather than my wallpaper. As soon as I disconnect the
television display changes back to the wallpaper.

Okay I figured it out, it simply puts the two screens next to each other. The
reason the screen is black is because TightVNC hides the wallpaper when a
connection is made. If you scroll far enough to the right (or left) you will
see your other monitor with icons and everything in place.
