UltraVNC Server with MS Logon I or II enabled #135

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I understand that this is more an enhancement request than an issue, but we
use UltraVNC at work heavily. We use MS Logon II on every windows machine to
ensure the viewer has admin access.

So I guess this is a two part request.
First are you guys willing to add this feature?

Second, I pulled down the trunk and mostly got authentication working MS
Logon I/II. (Hasn't broken yet...) Also added an optional Username field on
the settings page.

So once I'm done smoothing it over, you're welcome to it.
Assuming you would like that feature...

If you are hacking the code, don't use the trunk/it is way obsolete-- use the
antlersoft branch

I would love to have the patch for that enhancement--

Thanks very much

I will plan on adding a username column in the next DB update in anticipation
of this

Information about the source is here:
http://code.google.com/p/android-vnc-viewer/wiki/Helping

Particularly--

Providing patches-- Are you a developer who knows how to add a feature or fix a
bug? The source code for the currently available versions is in the antlersoft
svn branch: https://android-vnc-viewer.googlecode.com/svn/branches/antlersoft.
The source code is designed to build in the Eclipse ADT environment with the
addition of the SQLiteGen plugin (which is also free and open source):
http://code.google.com/p/sqlitegen Send a patch (googlecode@antlersoft.com) or
post it to the issue report. If you will be contributing on an ongoing basis,
we'll add you to the project.

I downloaded build 182 and attempted to connect to our server with UltraVNC
using Integrated Security and after attempting to establish a handshake it
errors out with VNC connection failed. From the UltraVNC MSLogon.log file, it
appears that the authentication failed but the connection was lost. Any tips?
