What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect
2. Click in any text field
3. Press Alt + Q (this should be the command to enter the number '1')

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
By pressing Alt + Q you should be able to enter the number '1'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
build20091118 on the Motorola Droid

Please provide any additional information below.
Every other number works except '1'

Alt-Q is Tab on the G1-- I wonder if that is the root of the problem.

As a workaround, you can use 'Send Keys' or 'Enter Text' menu command to send a
1
