11 months ago 3 blue 1 brown's bayes rule video may be kinda sorta helpful to leave a link for in extra resources at the end of this topic. It's not exactly related, but it is presented in this same medical test context, and maybe helps shows how random variables (the test result, in the video's case) can be drastically different from their underlying distribution.
