Why
Although they will mostly all have taken stats, they often really don't know much about it. This gives them some tools and intuition.
How
Tried to keep it high-level and as a result, some terminology and precision in wording was lost. I don't think it's detrimental as I think it gives the ideas well.

A permutation/randomization test example will be a future topic. This will actually give the intuition of what the hell the p-value actually means, which is good.
