What steps will reproduce the problem?
When installing the PROUPDATE of PRO-B10 I get the message "unknown psp model
11G" and installs the update successfully. And the Custom firmware did not get
installed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Firmware was not installed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PSP-E1003 1C

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems PRO still doesn't work on model 11G. Do you have more details after
installed the CFW? In order to support the 11G more details are welcomed.

The installation completed successfully.
After pressing the L Button + X to launch the CFW the installation screen
showed as follows:

"Unknown PSP model 011g
Writing flash0: /kd/_systemctrl.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_vshctrl.prx... OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_galaxy.prx... OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_stargate.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_march33.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_inferno.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_usbdevice.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /kd/_popcorn.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /vsh/module/_satelite.prx...OK
Writing flash0: /vsh/module/_recovery.prx...OK
 Completed
Press X to start CFW"

After presing X
'Now reboot to Pro-B :)'

After reboot the sounds are still coming when navigating through the menu and
the ISO files placed on the ISO folder are not visible under Game.

When I install just pressing X without re-install option i get the message:
"Unknown PSP model 011g
 Completed
Press X to start CFW"

And the same ISO files are no longer visible and If I load games under
PSP\Games\ I get the error message 80010087. I believe this means PRO doesn't
work. Please let me know if anything specific I can dig in from my PSP and
provide.

Regards,
Bharath

You can use 6.60 LME 1.3:
http://pspcustomfirmware.com/psp-cfw-6-60-lme-1-3.htm
I saw on a video that it worked on the PSP E-1000.
It is a similar cfw to PRO and its made by a PRO-team worker(Neur0n).
Use this cfw for now,and when the Pro cfw is compatible with your model
unistall 6.60 LME 1.3 and install 6.60 PRO(WHEN IT GETS COMPATIBLE DONT FORGET
IT).
I will be happy to help if you have more problems! :)

Can you check if your PSP version number changed to PRO-B10 after
installing/launching PRO?

Go to system settings then system information System Software should Say
PRO-B10 if not 5 want to know what it is and make sure you use fastrecovery
first to get to PRO since you are on 6.60 I am assumming and include what it
changed to if changed on MAC Address but if still numbers just say numbers for
your protection :)

Thank you very much guys for your response. It works fine now. I did a stupid
mistake, looking at the YouTube video and started installing by pressing Hold
L+X on the first time. So it didn't install the Firmware at all.

So when I tried just installing by pressing X it installed successfully and I
was able to load the ISO games. So probably the project team can try to catch
the re-install for the first time and install the version. But thank you very
much for your effort.

And regarding the error message I was getting 80010087 for the EBOOT.PBP games,
it should be something with the game or other setting. I will check this
separately but the root problem is fixed. If anyone knows this 80010087 error
please let me know it would be ultra awesome :D

Bharath

yeah, it means you can't install it, and if you somehow manage to, you'll
probably brick your psp, so don't do it.

you'll have to live with starting it off with fastrecovery every time you cold
boot.

You COULD probably play games without hacking your PSP-E1000 model. But, you
need to convert them into EBOOT.PBP type. For doing that, you need UMDGen and
Fake NP. The files are attached at the end of this comment. Here's the
instructions:
1.Extract the Fake NP and UMDGen archives into a new folder. This is your working space. You can name the folder "Fake NP" without the commas.
2.Grab any ISO format game which is no bigger than 1.1 GB ( If the game is in CSO format, you're gonna have to decompress it using CISO GUI ). Copy the game to the Fake NP folder and rename it to "NP" without the commas. Now it should be NP.iso.
3.You should now have the following files inside the Fake NP folder:
          -fake_np.exe
          -UMDGen.exe
          -NP.iso
4.Fire up UMDGen and load the NP.iso from the Fake NP folder. NOTE: In some ISOs, you have to enter the PSP_GAME folder to see the main files. And in others, you will find the main files even without entering the PSP_GAME folder.
5.Find ICON.PNG or ICON0.PNG in the main file directory and extract it to the Fake NP folder. Then find EBOOT.BIN file inside the SYSDIR folder and extract it to the Fake NP folder.
6.Run fake_np.exe. It will create an EBOOT.PBP file. Put that file inside a new folder and name the folder the same as the game you just hacked ( Example: Fifa Street 2 ). Copy that folder to ms0:/PSP/GAME/ and you are done!*
*Please note that ALL games cannot be converted to EBOOT.PBP type.
To extract the files, use WinRAR.
