What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download Corpse Party from PSN
2. Transfer to PSP
3. Start game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Game should start, but it constantly returns the 80010087 error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.20-B10.fix1

Please provide any additional information below.
Tried turning off plugins, changing drivers, turning off caching, etc. Nothing
seems to work.

Did you install the permanent patch? Are there any settings that I might have
to change to get it to run? I'm at a loss as to what it could be.

You need to download and install copies of PSP games DIRECTLY on your PSP.
Downloading a copy of a PSN title from anywhere else and dumping it on your PSP
WONT work since almost every PSN downloaded title is signed for ONE specific
PSP. You can also try some decrypting plugins like nploader or npdecrypter but
that might not work.

Um...I explicitly said that I downloaded it directly from PSN (in this case
onto my PS3) and then transferred it to my PSP. It's worked many times in the
past...

Since you already bought it on PSN simply download it Directly from PSN on your
PSP. That should fix the problem - of course if you disabled all additional
plugins that might cause this problem.

No, I tried downloading directly to the PSP and it still doesn't work. I also
tried downloading to a cleanly formatted memory stick and it also didn't work.
I even tried deactivating and reactivating my PSP and that didn't work either.
So I'm at a loss as to what it could be unless there is some setting that is
making it not work.

after a quick search on Google, it looks like some games just require that you
download them from the PSN store using your PSP. obviously, this would
probably not be good with CFW. got that info from youtube: watch?v=H29ZINaHlRw

note that I have never had this problem, because I use MediaGo on my computer
for downloading from PSN. I did not make the video, either... the only
setting I know of that may have an impact is the "NoDRM Engine". access it as:

Recovery Menu -> Advanced -> NoDRM Engine

probably want this enabled.

It's enabled by default and you need that to log on to PSN if you have an older
CFW than the current highest (older than 6.60 by today).
I dont have problems with PSN since the offer of PSN titles in my country is
VERY limited. I got my games mostly on UMD or in *.iso format. The only PSN
title I have works fine so far.

last thing that comes to my mind that you scould do is:
- Reinstall PRO CFW (to make shure that the instalation is ok and your back to
the default settings)
- Format your MS
- DONT copy anything on your MS after the format (no backuped savegames, no
plugins, NOTHING)
- Download the game from PSN using your PSP's PSN store.
- try to run the game.

If that doesent work - I dont know what will.

Still doesn't seem to work. Now, I did notice something weird. Without CFW
running, it asks me to update to 6.60 when I try to start the game. With CFW
running and with no version.txt it gives the 80010087 error and nothing about
having to update to 6.60. Not sure if that'll help figure out where the
problem is...

I'm having the exact same problem with A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks on the same
Pro verion. With the CFW, I get the same error you get with Corpse Party. Yet
when I switched to OFW, it gave me the 8010850E error. Nothing about updating
to 6.60.
