Can the below panel include the Organizer rather than just the event title.

Hey @raz3r83 , the panel changed a little since you took that screenshot; which I believe you've seen - with the flags, etc.

I'm trying to keep that sidepanel relatively narrow, and adding the organizer makes it somewhat wider, and doesn't seem to give much?

Many organizers are named like "Dreamhack", and events like "Dreamhack Summer", so this would show as "Dreamhack Dreamhack Summer" which obviously looks a bit goofy.

What was the reason you think it makes sense?

Hi @jamesread, you're right the panel has changed a little however I think it still has merit.

It's about consistency of data, at the moment its a trade off, between something the reads well for the side panel or looks right on the map pop out panels as well as on the list view.

and yes a number of the LAN's have added their events with the organizer name as part of the event I suspect more to get it to show well on the quick panel rather than elsewhere.

for example if we compare say StratLAN with LanOps.

I personally think if the approach was consistent and as per the other views it showed the Organizer as well then they wouldn't need to include it in the event title.

LanOps happens to use both a number and a #tag name for ours but even if it was just a number if the organizer were included then it doesn't matter.

Anyway it's just a suggestion, if you don't want to change it you don't have to :)

I think even if the organiser name showed in the list, organisers would still include the organiser name in the event title.

So perhaps changing the pushpin popup to not show the organiser name is the better option, so the organiser name is not repeated.
