Special characters in password made the migrator to throw an error

I'll poke around a bit more but had no issues using a password of a#Bc!123456%!$z?

When i tried with my previous password with special characters: *#!****%!$* ( i removed the other characters and replaced them with asterisks) i received login error.

when i changed the password to be *****! it worked
