Typically, coding interfaces have an option to flag (in text usually underline or highlight) unused variables. It would be useful to have an option to flag (say highlight the cell in the signature) all cells that have not been used in higher cells. I imagine this will be one of many options eventually, that perhaps should appear in a popup "settings" menu.
