Here's a possibility, quite expensive however:

These look good: http://www.apem.com/files/apem/brochures/ADTS6-ADTSM-KTSC6.pdf
Here are all the SMT switches that accept caps on Digikey: http://www.digikey.com/products/en/switches/tactile-switches/197?k=&pkeyword=&pv1989=0&pv545=23&pv69=3&FV=ffe000c5&mnonly=0&newproducts=0&ColumnSort=0&page=1&stock=1&quantity=0&ptm=0&fid=0&pageSize=500
I think we're going to have to give up on having caps, they're just too expensive, or there isn't enough choice in colours for the SMT ones. Much more cheaply we can get simpler through-hole buttons in a single neutral colour, like black. We can then create the colour with a cut-out sticker on the lid.
We need SMD tactile switches with a sufficient choice of coloured caps. I'm struggling to find good choices.
