ambimonitor not part of package? #970

Dear list,

I just installed the new Jamoma (November 23 build) and on opening the dbap=.model help patch I see the ambimonitor object greyed out.

Should I install more then only the nightly build?

Dear Hans, there is a repository dedicated to all third parties on which the Jamoma package relies : https://github.com/jamoma/JamomaDependencies

sorry if this is not clear. @jln-, @lossius this issue reveals a feature request : where to warn users that they will maybe need to download the dependency package ?

ICST ambisonics objects are now distributed in Max Package Manager, and the best solution would be that users download directly rather than using JamomaDependencies.

@tap : Is there a way of defining package dependencies in our Max package, so that it is clear that ICST Ambisonics need to be installed as well?

Maybe we should add a little note somewhere in the Overview patcher (the one that opens when pushing the "launch" button from the Package Manager), where we could mention:
