At some point we were using code exported from gen~ as a reference in the interpolation implementation. There was a bug in that code (now fixed) and referenced with a really good report @ http://www.tonmeister.ca/wordpress/2016/01/26/max-gen-delay-analysis/
Also of note is this discussion (toward the bottom) regarding feedback handling. I'm not sure if this is relevant directly at the DSP level, as I think this is handled at the Graph level in Jamoma, but it is worth review.
