Feature Request: Cross-Correlations and RM-Correlations #1480

Open BrysonCarrier opened 3 months ago

Just wanted to add a request for two new correlations that I don't think are currently available. Cross-correlations and repeated measures correlations. Documentation links below. Would greatly appreciate this being added (maybe to seolmatrix module?). Thanks for making jamovi great!

Cross-Correlations: https://www.rdocumentation.org/packages/tseries/versions/0.1-2/topics/ccf https://online.stat.psu.edu/stat510/lesson/8/8.2 https://search.r-project.org/CRAN/refmans/gsignal/html/xcorr.html https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/testcorr/vignettes/testcorr.pdf

Repeated Measures Correlation: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rmcorr/rmcorr.pdf https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rmcorr/index.html

Hi BrysonCarrier

Thanks for your requests

I will take a look at.

Hi BrysonCarrier

I will add them in the next version of seolmatrix module.

Thanks for your requests again.

Hi @hyunsooseol

That is great news, thank you!

Hi BrysonCarrier

Is this what you want?

Hi @hyunsooseol That looks correct for RM-correlations, however cross-correlations should produce a table with the correlations and the associated lags. Something like this is how SPSS does it. It would also be nice to be able to adjust the number of lags built in, I think SPSS defaults to +7 and -7. I've also pasted the graph that SPSS produces (different analysis than the table, so numbers are different), which would also be great to have.

Also, first time for me adding a pic, hopefully it comes through alright.

Best, Bryson

Thanks for your comments. These are the results of cross-correlation in seolmatrix module. The relevant material is described in the following sites: https://www.r-bloggers.com/2021/08/how-to-calculate-cross-correlation-in-r/ image

Hi BrysonCarrier

Regarding cross correlation, the results will be shown as follows: image image

If it's OK, I will add the analysis to the seolmatrix module and push it to the jamovi library by the end of this week.
