@lazaroalvarenga Hugo, the framework this site is built on, supports multilingual sites since 0.17. Maybe that could be used. Or you could fork it, translate it and host another copy on a Brazilian TLD.
Scratch the forking comment @lazaroalvarenga. No license has been provided with this repo, which means the work is under copyright according to the berne convention.
I'd love to see the work! Good catch on the license, it is addressed in #53
PR is merged, licensed MIT. Translate as you like! Ping in here if there's anything anyone else can do to help. I'm not sure the most efficient way to manage and sync multiple language versions—for example, is it better to store all in the same repo, or fork to separate sites? @lazaroalvarenga do you have experience working on other translation projects?
I would love to see this lead to other languages. I have not done this before, but the solution laid out by @jhabdas is ideal. And it seems straightforward enough to do so like this: https://gohugo.io/tutorials/create-a-multilingual-site/
@lazaroalvarenga let me know me know if any assistance is needed. I only speak one language, but I am going to try this out with a UK English version, based on comments in this PR #50
Anyone working on a updated multilingual version of the site? I don't know about 11ly, what's the best approach to do this? If "fork and translate" is the way, It's easy (in short term) and I'll do soon as possible. But if someone is planning something else I can work on a different direction. Can you help me @bdougie ?
More recently, @huguestennier and @zachleat are the primary maintainers for this site, and may be able to answer your questions.
This is a awesome organization and your content too. Do you think it may be interesting to translate the website to facilitate the access of the brazilian community?
