Create a Friends List #826

It would be great to have a simple Friends List so that we can add friends or musicians met during sessions. Having such a tool we can go through our friend's list and check out if they are online, and where they are playing so that we can join them if we want to. I think that this would improve Jamulus community also and make new friends maybe in the real world too :) Thanks

You're right. Now it doesn't work anymore. Maybe it's down at the moment

Just got this today at night my time. Tried to remote into the server but no luck, so I'll have to go there tomorrow and see what's wrong. Best Guess machine crashed for some reason. I'll update you tomorrow.

Will you evaluate to add this to the main software? So that a musician can double check if a friend is currently connected to a server and reach him to play? Would be so useful :)

No need to add this to the Jamulus software. It is a link, you can connect to it with any browser. If you connect to the Central Server in the Default list, the welcome message contains the link.

Site is back up now. There is a bug is the disconnect code that I still have to find. Somehow the machine got hung, which is never supposed to happen, but that's the "joy" of software," you never know what you're going to get." I'll keep you updated when I have time to chase the bug, for right now the site should "work."
