Email app enhancement : empty trash

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open "E-mail" application
2. Read a mail, delete it
3. Look at your mail going from Inbox to Trash
4. Try to remove it from the Trash

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The e-mail should disappear from the list. It does not. Open the mail from
the list under "Trash", try to re-delete it, it's still in the Trash.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
daily 20091030

Please provide any additional information below.
Why not provide a way to completely empty Trash with a long press on
"Trash" ? A long press has the same effect as a short press : display /
hide the message list.
