What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn on phone
2. Freerunner connects to AT&T
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Receive incoming texts.
No texts ever come in.

Please provide any additional information below.

Bare with me, as I'm a beginner with linux, and very new to cellular OS's.

I bought a Freerunner preloaded with Android. I'm assuming it is Koolu 6 as
I can't tell (I'm new to this). I can send texts, make calls and receive
calls. I never receive texts, and when I go into the "Status" menu it tells
me Data access is "connecting" but never connects. I am pretty sure my APN
is correct because if I use any of the other APN variables possible with
AT&T, Data access says "not connected" (or something to that effect). I
also can not use the browser via AT&T, only wifi. I have unlimited data on
my plan.

Here is some of my status menu info, if this helps:

Phone number: not available
Network: AT&T
Signal strength: -87 dBm 13 asu
Network type: unknown
Service state: In service
Roaming: not roaming
Data access: connecting
IMEI: not available
IMEI SV: not available
IMSI: *it has the correct numbers

Anyone have any ideas? Also a noobs guide to Android on Freerunner would be
great, if anyone knows where I can access one.

Just a bit I found out. The APN's floating around for AT&T may not be totally
correct. I called att and got the current smart phone apn info.

APN: PDPWAP1
USERNAME: <leave blank>
Password: <leave blank>

This is good, as far as the att tech knew.

I have finally gotten everything working. I erased the image flashed by the
company I
bought the phone from, and reflashed it with this weeks image. Everything is
working
great! Apparently they had a bad image.
