What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. configure apn
2. wait for gprs icon shown
3. ifconfig ppp0 or ping 4.2.2.2

I don't seem to have that issue, however wifi doesn't work :(

I have this issue too, o2 - UK. Icon appears, no connection tho

Same issue here: MTN South Africa.  Same config of APNs work on Cupcake, but 
not on 
Eclair.

Hi,

Installed it.  Issue not yet resolved.  Seems the Freerunner for now will stay a
Cupcake device.
