Mass select/delete option #2443

I have a very large library and sometimes I have imported a set of books by mistake I like to remove. Currently I am removing them one by one but I would prefer to be able to be able to "cherry pick" and to be able to "select all" books currently displayed.

Use case is processing results of a search/filter query. e.g. all books of a series, author, genre and being able to delete them in one go

I'd like to second this. I can mass-add books easily, but there is no way to mass-delete them. It should always be at least nearly as easy to correct a mistake as it is to cause one (such as importing the wrong books)

It would be wonderful if the books list page had a "select all" option, as well as a "delete selected" button, rather than having to click each trashcan icon and then move my mouse over to confirm, and then back again, which is maddening when you have to do it over 300 times in a row.

Do exist any alternative for OPDS content server because without such feature Calibre web is a garbage(may be too loud) ?
