Hi,

I am an old user of Calibre and Calibre-web as well and I always thanks for your effort making and maintaining of Calibre-web. I am one of old user, But I haven't thought I am able to manage comic books using Calibre and Calibre-web. The reason why I don't use Calibre-web to manage Comic books is Calibre-web doesn't have 'Bulk Download' feature. Normally, Comic books have lots of number of their books, for example, "One Piece" has over 90 books for jus one seires. So, normally the person who read comic books would like to download the series at once.

I think I can make many books to some seires and If Calibre-web has a functionatlity to download this seires with just a few click, it helps 'Comic book readers' a lot.

please consider this features. It can be downloaded just a series of comic book zip(or cbz) file as its own file type or you can make a zip contains all files for this and we can download after that.

Let me give you a workaround/workflow for this capability, as the developer seems to be on hiatus...

  1. Create a shelf, name it something that describes the series or category or list of books you want to download.
  2. Use Advanced Search to filter down to your desired list. Could be as simple as just using the "series" tag, or more complex.
  3. Click "Add to Shelf" and select your new shelf - all the books from the advanced search result will now be in the shelf
  4. Open the shelf
  5. Click "Download" - a page will open with download links for each of those books
  6. Use a download manager (I like JDownloader) to select all the download links, and then let it download all the files.
