UI elements overlap while playing #525

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Start a game against bots.
2. Make your moves.
3. When the bots move, observe the UI elements representing their actions 
overlapping with the action log.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: Clean interface with no overlapping elements.

Instead: Overlap whenever another player makes a move.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Androminion v4.01

Problem occurs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean as well as Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream 
Sandwich

Samsung Galaxy SIII SGH-T999
