cant turn off colonies and plat #549

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.set include plat/colonies in settings to on
2.play a few games and try to turn it off.
3.box unchecks but colonies and plat still show up in every game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should be able to turn colonies and plat on and off. Does not work. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
4.01.  Android version 4.1.2

I can't reproduce this in the latest build. You can download it from here:
