Currently the addon isn't available for download to Firefox 68 for android.. That means it isn't compatible?

It'll install (if you sideload it), but it won't do anything. Without looking, I suspect that mobile FF doesn't let addons play with the address bar due to reduced space. I may be completely wrong.

Yup. Not compatible with FF for android https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/pageAction

Also relevant (probably more so): https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1267354

@d7415 is right, on Firefox for Android it is unfortunately not possible update the icon of the page action. That is the reason why IndicateTLS is currently not compatible with Firefox for Android. Do you have any ideas how we could make IndicateTLS useful on Firefox for Android?

d7415 commented 4 years ago

I had a couple of ideas, but none great. However it looks like that may have been fixed as of FF72. Here's hoping :)

FWIW I just tested on Firefox Nightly for android. It's hidden in the Add-ons menu and the details page doesn't open, but the icon (with the coloured TLS level) is present.
