Flash PSA-B01 GL #2

Hi, I need To put tasmota firmare on device in object.

I know how to put the device in flash mode. I have the ftd232 with vcc rx tx and gnd. I put 5v power supply to power the device, and put it in flash mode.

But I don’t understand where I need to put rx tx and gnd cable from ftd232 to device.

Can you please explains me exactly where put the cable and from where to whare ?

Hello, to what Sonoff device is it? Normal flashes the Sonoff devices without the 5v power supply and only on the FTDI.

It’s this sonoff device. How can I flash only whit ftdi if for put it in flash mode I need to press and hold 2 button while insert the power supply ?

Take a look at this picture: w4lo32t_wdtsfzj1ab2z07g80vddc8xwuq It should be pretty easy to flash this module. Just use the header pin bar below and connect GND to GND, RX to TX, TX to RX and 3.3V to VCC. The procedure should be the same as described in my guide: https://github.com/jannnfe/homebridge-ESP8266-pojects/wiki/Itead-Sonoff-Garagedoor-Opener

If you have problems connecting to your FTDI adapter you would have to post the adapter here again. Greetings

Ok great ! Only for explaining:

1) Put the sonoff in flash mode with usb cable and power supply 5v. As showed at the YouTube video.

2 ) connect FTDI vcc to 3,3, rx to Tx, tx to rx , and gnd to gnd. With the pin under the blue relay as a picture showed.

3) Connect FTDI to computer and flash the device.

It’s correct ?

No first try not to connect the USB only with 3v3 and try to flash. While connecting the 3v3 get the Module in flash mode. If this fails, try without 3v3 and with USB. But in both situations connect GND, TX and RX If this fails, try to swap RX and TX.
