Firebug disables itself on page refresh #94

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Since one of the recent versions (noticed it 3 or 4 days ago) Firebug will
close on page refresh.

* enable firebug via click on icon or F12,
* F5 / ctrl+r / refresh button to refresh page
-> Firebug will not stay open across refresh but close / disable again

Using "On for All Pages" option will let it stay open all the time. No problem
there.

Disabling Firecookie, it works as expected again.

Firebug Version 1.6.2
Firefox 3.6.15
Win7 x64

Please, make sure you have updated Firecookie to version 1.2.1

Let me know if it help.

Thanks!

Yes, I updated yesterday, and seeing the changelog thought it would have been
fixed, but it was not.
The issue still exists today.

Please try Firebug 1.10a11:

http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.10/firebug-1.10.0a11.xpi

This version has Firecookie integrated. (Remove Firecookie first.) Please let
us know if you still see that problem.

I don’t know since when exactly, but using Firebug 1.9.2 and Firecookie 1.4,
I can not reproduce the issue.

Thank you for pointing out Firebug 1.10 though.
I’m excited to hear Firecookie will be integrated!
