This PR fixes the test suite - it was broken previously, but now it can be run with
poetry run pytest
Other fixes:
The horizon function now works even if the source is out of band, just giving a warning
The functionality for a maximum frequency cutoff is reinstated, and renamed to max_frequency_cutoff as suggested by @bvgoncharov - it might be generalized and refactored later, but this way is simple and works for the moment.
