This repo is clearly marked as unsupported and seeking a maintainer, and hasn't had a commit in 7 years. I have no idea if it even still works or is still relevant, but I'm not the least bit surprised that it has issues with Ruby 3.

I'll gladly accept a pull request with a confirmed fix for this, but otherwise it's just going to stay open.
