zoom issue? #29

HI Zooming seems to work reasonably well on S22, A55 but not at all on an A52. (apart from the weird jump when you get to zoom level ~6)

The OS's on each phone is up to date. All have: One UI - 6.1 Android version 14

Any thoughts on why the A52 is not playing ball?

Works well for me on the Samsung Galaxy S21+ (Android 14), with back and front camera. With the back cam, I can see 11 distinct zoom levels, with front only 7.

Are you testing this with the sample app (Camera.MAUI.Test)? If not: Please try it, so that we have a reproducable case and know what we are talking about. Just build and run the app, go to "MVVM Cam" and try to zoom via the "+" and "-" buttons. Does that still fail on the A52?
