Thank you for your interest in our Unusual Solutions Competition.

We are pleased to let you know that we are extending the deadline of the ideation phase by one week - as such we will welcome submissions until Sunday 8 September (midnight CEST).

This will allow us to receive submissions from candidates who have signed up very recently and also give us the opportunity to get back to you if we have any queries when you submit your application over the very next few days.

Remember that we welcome ideas at any level of maturity —you will only have to submit a summary of the idea, the envisaged outcome and impact as well as a summary of your plan forward. If your idea is selected, you will then benefit from a prize of USD 15,000 that will allow you to turn your idea into a concept and compete for the final prize of USD 100,000 during the Final Pitch event, currently scheduled for February 2020. You may also submit several ideas for consideration.

If you have any questions not answered in the FAQ or in the Application Information folder, please feel free to send us an email at unusualsolutions@werobotics.org.

Thanks and best of luck to you!

Regards, The Unusual Solutions team
