Drawers won't stay crafted #381

Forgive me if I missed a similar post, I did search.

On attempting to craft the drawers, once I put the drawers in my inventory and exit workbench interface, the materials used drop as if I had left the materials in the workbench while exiting the UI. I tried repeatedly also on multiple crafting tables.

Update: This time the drawers did stay in inventory, I noticed after I walked away. 2016-12-06_08 03 50

1.11? I'm planning to do another release for the RB today so I'll take a look. You're sure there's no trouble crafting anything else? What about non-oak?

smeezer commented 7 years ago

I have no crafting issues with anything and I've been crafting extensively, just started a fresh world from scratch with a friend on a fresh server install on my machine.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

we've been playing a few days now and haven't had any issues with any other mods, textures, shaders etc

smeezer commented 7 years ago

I have had a minor sound issue with j0rbis and click.ogg but that should be unrelated.

I'd test other aspects of your mod but since everything hinges on the drawers initially I can't tell you if anything else is malfunctioning. At first glance, it seems to me as though the items are created but once the function to create them is complete, the game is rejecting them as valid items. I also had my player 2 attempt make the items and that failed also. She is using different hardware and lower graphical settings and a different texture pack so I don't think it's graphics related.

I've been wracking my brain trying to think of any other useful information I can give you. Is there any steps you'd like me to try?

jaquadro commented 7 years ago

I'll have to check it tonight. If you want to play with other aspects of the mod, you could give yourself some in creative.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

That's a good point, I'll try to make time for it to help you out

That's in creative mode. It worked fine there.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

I used windows 10 to attempt a repair on minecraft afterwords so I'm going to try again in single player survival and then again in multiplayer

jaquadro commented 7 years ago

There's a new build for 11. It's built against the latest Forge RB, but doesn't have any fixes specific for this. I haven't seen it in my test environment.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

OK so I tested creative mode and survival mode both in single player with no problems. Only in multiplayer did the same glitch continue.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

I'll try the new build in a few minutes.

smeezer commented 7 years ago

Issue still occurring with updated build.

GrumpyChunks commented 7 years ago

I've had this issue (multiplayer only), and I've figured out what the problem is (at least for me). The mod was installed on the client, but somehow I'd managed to not install it on the server. Once installed on the server, the problem was solved.
