Pilots Log #22

I have noticed that since 12 November the pilots log has ceased to update. Previously this used to update upon entering a new system every time but then it started updating only upon starting a new game. Hopefully this is something that you can rectify easily. Thanks Cmdr Clivuus

If you are now running the Odyssey version of Elite, you need to change the Net Logs path in the Settings cog to your version of C:\Users\user-name\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\elite-dangerous-odyssey-64\Logs and click on the appconfig.xml there!

There are all sorts of issues around the population of logs - see issue #13 as well (although I don't believe that this is the same problem) - and I can find no repeatable way of forcing them to happen which makes finding a fix difficult? Did the suggestion above help at all?

My pilot log had completely stopped showing any activity after switching from Elite Horizons to Odyssey. I eventually found that the net log path was still pointing at the Horizons appdata.xml not the Odyssey one. I changed that and the pilot log immediately loaded in and displayed all my hyperjumps from previous weeks. Unfortunately, it now does what Cmdr Clivuus is experiencing which is on running TDH, all of the previous sessions hyperjumps are displayed but then no further updates are shown until the next day.

I’ve noticed now that the net logs seem to be a once daily thing so the pilots log only gets data for the station where you are when the net log is created. Must be a Frontier thing.
