Release new version #44

Like I said in issue #2 I'm interested in releasing a new version of this strategy (and I guess other users will be too). This include dedicating the time needed for testing and release.

But it would be nice to have info from the maintainers:

Why has there not been any more releases with all the stuff since the first one?? This is weird is this project abandoned? I have found bugs in the release that are fixed in master but really don't want to just npm install whatever may be in master at any point.

It seems like @jaredhanson is busy... meanwhile there's an alternative OpenID client that supports passport

I've switched to the openid-client mentioned above and it works like a charm. This library here is not maintained.
