7 months ago I had started on this, and it was intended to be a drop-in upgrade/replacement but the Locale support is what's really tripped me up. If you have any experience with that I would welcome it.
I've not tried doing a side-testing/clean install but have generally been working on upgrade-in-place and have it at a 80-85% support, but I also host lists that use other languages than English so there's the obvious issues there that crop up

At which stage is this project?
Very early development stage or more like "testers with clue are welcome" stage? Or even a further stage in maturity? (Libre software is like a partner, it doesn't come with warranty :-)
