For example, overlaying a transparent white box on a grayscale gradient produces a gradient that is tinted different colors (eg blue then red). Probably has to do with the color components overflowing into each other somehow.
They work on Bochs... need to figure out why
No more odd colors, but it looks like it is working backwards? (The partially transparent box is getting darker as the background gets lighter...)
