Mousedown #102

Trying to use mousedown instead of click for menus so that focus isn't removed from inputs

I won't be able to accept any pull request in the upcoming 2-3 months as I'm doing major rewrite of the toolkit in order to support dynamic theme switching, dark mode and the new macOS appearance. I will review and try to port your changes later.

I finally finished the project rewrite and I published the first beta version (0.9.0). If you can still reproduce the issue that this pull request was trying to fix, please report it on https://xel-toolkit.org/issues. Also note that Xel 0.9.0 breaks backward compatibility with the earlier alpha releases (0.0.x) and it is now licensed under GPLv3.
