Device unusable after some days #189

Hi,

I'm running 4 Raspberry Pi with chilipie-kiosk. Two are connected via HDMI and USB with an Monitor with included Touchscreen: Iiyama ProLite T2735MSC.

One of them has the following issue:

After some days the Chromium browser no longer can't be controlled. When connecting from Remote via VPN the X11/VNC Server is no longer usable which mean I can't connect. What still works is the SSH Server and I'm able to connect. When I just try sudo reboot then the SSH Server stops but the System doesn't reboot.

Do you have any Idea what can be the root cause?

µSD-Card: SanDisk Ultra R98 microSDHC 16GB Kit, UHS-I U1, A1, Class 10

Thank you in advance.

11 days ago I formatted the µSD-Card with FAT32 and used h2testw for Windows to test if I can write and read the full card. This didn't show any error.

An alternative application for Linux is f3.

f3 is a simple tool that tests flash cards capacity and performance to see if they live up to claimed specifications. It fills the device with pseudorandom data and then checks if it returns the same on reading.

F3 stands for Fight Flash Fraud, or Fight Fake Flash.

Then I flashed the µSD-Card again, expanded the disk and customized it.

Today I connected via VNC to the device and until now all is fine.
