Selecting a date in Schedule Viewer adds an unnecessary zero to the end of the year (IE8) #348

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the select link next to the Date: field to select a date like 10/19/2012
2. The Date: field will populate with a value of '201201019'
3.If you then try to select trips on a given route (in the route box along the
left), no trips will be available to view. You have to delete that extra zero
(between '2012' and '1019') in order to have any trips available to select for
viewing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See above

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I think I'm using the latest version of the Schedule Viewer (downloaded August
2012), on IE8 in Windows XP.

Please provide any additional information below.
