Summary:

Question: what is the best next step for internet topology development? Answer: strive for direct paths from major content providers to clients (bipartite graph?)

Relevance: use techniques to measure from cloud without having to travel to different locations.

The study measures performance by looking at traceroutes from PlanetLab nodes to iPlane destinations. There are not any PlanetLab nodes in Guatemala, but we can perhaps work with universities to use their networks as base points for measurement.
