Help changing picture and sound profiles (Dynamic, Standard, Movie, etc) #121

Is it possible to change the picture and sound profiles with this component or in some other way? I tried using the KEY_DYNAMIC, KEY_GAME and so on, but it won't work with the Qled Q8DN

any help will be appreciated

I respond myself. From the samsung smartthings app it's possible to create scenes with those values. I created those scenes and I trigger them from Alexa

Reopening it as a reminder to ourselves to see if we can do this directly from HA (Smartthings API seems to have an entry for this)

Thank you so much @obaldius i was looking for a way to do the same thing and your solution worked for me and my TV is now "really" smart.

As @Screwdgeh said it would be perfect to do this natively from HA.

This feature is now available with @ollo69 's forked custom_component: https://github.com/ollo69/ha-samsungtv-smart

@romquenin we are working on merging ollo's fork into this component, you will need to switch back when that happens 😅
