1.0 Documentation Rewrite

As part of the 1.0 release, the documentation needs a rewrite, I'm going to try to follow the principles of the above blog:

• Tutorials - learning-oriented, simple lessons for beginners to get started
• How-to Guides - goal-oriented, a series of steps to solve common problems
• Reference - information-oriented, fully documented API
• Explanation (Background) - understanding-oriented, background & history

A lot of this already exists, it just needs rearranging...
