Backup same file multiple times

Hello,

I’ve been using MEGA Storage Manager for about 2 months and it was working well until the 23 December. A little background first:

I create a new file each day in one folder on my mobile phone and I have created a schedule in MEGA Storage Manager to sync this folder with my Cloud Drive.

The schedule I created is to sync from Device to Cloud with the following options enabled:

1. Resync if file content changes
2. Re-upload deleted files

Since 23 December 2014, the MEGA Storage Manager app has been uploading the same file to my Cloud Drive multiple times. At one stage, I had 13 copies of each file in my online account.

I disabled the schedule when I noticed multiple copies were being uploaded unnecessarily.

Today, I enabled the schedule again and the MEGA Storage Manager app uploaded multiple copies again. One file was uploaded 17 times, another 15 times and others 13 times. The upload looked like it was not going to stop so I disabled the schedule then deleted it.

Note: The files on my mobile phone do not change once created. My mobile phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5

I am running the latest version of MEGA Storage Manager as per the Google Play store.

Please advise what I can do to fix this problem.

Hi. Just for clarification, do you see multiple copies of the files in the official android app from MEGA or just in the web app?

Hi,

I see multiple file copies in BOTH locations, in the OFFICIAL Android App and on the Web (Cloud Drive).

For completeness and to assist, I've attached screenshots of:

1. my Official Android App showing multiple file copies
2. my MEGA Cloud Drive showing multiple file copies and
3. a hash check of 2 files downloaded from the Mega Cloud Drive.

The hash of each file is exactly the same.
